Yoga Mysore
Traditional yoga. Your practice at your pace.
Yoga Mysore
Unlike led classes, Mysore-style yoga is self-paced, with each student practicing a set sequence of postures at their own rhythm, while receiving individualised guidance and adjustments from the teacher.
This approach allows practitioners to develop a deep, personal practice, focusing on breath, alignment and progression at their own pace.
The real benefits of yoga unfold with consistency of poses and practice. No prior experience of yoga is required to begin, but the self guided nature of the practice requires an ongoing internal commitment.
Pregnancy Yoga
During pregnancy, the body undergoes significant change to all bodily systems. It’s import to respect this reverential time, making adjustments to the needs of the body as it changes. Some yoga poses are no longer safe in pregnancy, and many poses are no longer beneficial.
Weaving together the disciplines of yoga, midwifery and bodywork, a sequence of poses has been developed to keep your baby safe, maintain pelvic alignment, ease discomfort and prepare for birth. These benefits are really unlocked through consistency of poses and practice. This sequence of poses is available to all pregnant women (and those trying to conceive) in the Mysore-style class.
Pregnancy yoga workshops will be available throughout the year to smooth the transition to this specific practice.
